I don’t believe I have many followers that are Hip-Hop heads, but if you are or just enjoy good music, then I would urge you to check out Joey Bada$$’ latest mixtape “1999”. The modern day boom-bap era is back. This kid sounds like a “illmatic” era NaS in my opinion. Honestly, this song “Don’t Front” in particular sounds like something that would have been off the Mac Miller “K.I.D.S.” mixtape. That’s why I fucked with Mac for a minute, but then he went the money route and got poppy. I don’t blame him, but I like that heavy drum, lyrical type of hip-hop. This kid is doing it. He’s also 17. Crazy.

“This ain’t nothin’ new to you. Nothin’ unusual. Nothin’ you ain’t used to, so my nuttin’ is usable.”
